The MOT Supervisor is responsible for supervising and maintaining traffic control within project limits, including the installation and removal of safety devices. They also coordinate traffic control teams, manage equipment and materials, and provide administrative support for fleet and office operations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience in planning and supervising traffic control operations. At least 2 years of this experience must be at a lead or supervisory level.

The MOT Supervisor is a leader whose primary responsibility is to supervise and maintain traffic within the project's limits for the duration of the construction period, including any temporary suspensions of the work.
Setup and maintain lane closures and detours.
Furnishes, installs, and maintains traffic control and safety devices during construction.
Provides and other special requirements for safe and expeditious movement of traffic specified on the plans.
Maintenance of Traffic includes all facilities, devices, and operations as required for safety and convenience of the public within the work zone.
