The Emergency Medical Technician provides and documents direct routine patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider. Duties include performing clinical procedures and responding to emergencies according to hospital guidelines.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a current Florida EMT or Paramedic license along with AHA BLS certification. While less than one year of experience is required, previous healthcare experience is preferred.
PRN Variable shifts
The Emergency Medical Technician performs and documents direct routine patient care under licensed provider's supervision according to hospitals guidelines.
Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED or Vocational Training
Required Experience: Less than 1 of practical clinical experience.
Preferred Experience: 1 or more years previous experience in a health care environment.
