Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 - $32.83
Responsibilities
· Maintain an organized inventory of tools and equipment. · Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on tools. · Coordinate tool check-in/check-out procedures for field crews. · Track tool usage, repairs, and replacements using inventory software. · Ensure tools meet safety and operational standards. · Assist with procurement of new tools and supplies. · Coordinate calibration and certification of specialized equipment. · Support safety audits and inspections related to tool usage. · Transport tools and equipment between job sites as needed.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required. · 2+ years of experience in tool management, warehouse, or utility operations preferred. · Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and utility equipment. · Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. · Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems. · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Demands: · Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. · Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
· Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. · May be required to climb ladders or access elevated areas. · Use of hands and arms to handle, carry, and operate tools and equipment. · Occasional driving to and from job sites or storage facilities.
Work Environment:
· Combination of indoor tool room and outdoor field environments. · Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. · Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
