ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Under the general direction of the Sr. Distribution Supervisor, perform a wide variety of functions such as data entry, maintenance of records, preparing listings and summaries, simple computations, filing, and other administrative duties in support of the operations of the Shipping & Receiving department. Document preparation includes all required documents for the shipping & receiving of customer orders, interplant transfers, and vendor shipments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure products are delivered to their destinations accurately and promptly
Set guidelines for performing assessments
Serve as a liaison between departments, developing strategies to optimize operations
Monitor shipments, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain communication with vendors
Perform other related duties as directed.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum Experience Required
Two (2) years of experience in:
Customer service
Management systems
Shipping and receiving
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Experience in distribution or logistics operations
Strong communication skills
