The Office Assistant would work directly under the supervision of the property manager and the guidance of others. The primary duty of the Office Assistant is to answer prospective residents’ inquiries, greet people entering the office, write work orders for the maintenance staff, and walk units.
Position Responsibilities
· Learning the BJB Florida policies and procedures.
· Answer phone and email inquiries from prospective residents; uses standard sales techniques to schedule and conduct tours.
· Assists residents in renewal process by helping them e-sign if they come into the office.
· Process paperwork for agents.
· Meets with prospective residents and checks the availability of units that best fit their desires and budget.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
· Capable of multitasking and managing time effectively.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Sales experience is a plus.
· Computer skills.
· Fair Housing training and experience is a plus.
· Must be able to work a varied schedule including Saturdays and Sundays.
· Must be able to work extended business hours regularly.
