Position Overview
This position supports a multi‑specialty department by completing patient registration functions and serving as a key point of contact for patients, providers, and internal teams. The role requires daily collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate registration, efficient patient flow, and a positive patient experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform patient check‑in and check‑out processes
Complete patient registration and demographic updates
Manage patient letters and correspondence
Work message pools and fax queues
Direct patients and visitors appropriately
Schedule appointments for patients
Validate and enter charges into appropriate systems and collect required payments
Patient Flow & Operational Support
Facilitate patient flow from point of entry through destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
Obtain and verify demographic and financial information to support accurate billing and optimal clinical outcomes
Collaborate with clinical teams and other departments to support smooth clinic operations

Required & Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
