Responsible for collecting blood, blood cultures, and non-blood specimens from a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Duties include operating laboratory equipment, labeling specimens, and performing clerical tasks such as filing and report distribution.
Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent. A Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) and six months of phlebotomy experience are preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

4. Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, clients, and staff.
5. Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing, and faxing.
6. If applicable, collect drug screens (internal and external) using Chain of Custody Process.

1. Heavy/Hard work: Work requires strength and/or stamina, lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and carrying of materials and equipment weighing 40+lbs.
