The Emergency Medical Technician performs and documents direct routine patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider. Responsibilities include clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKG monitoring within hospital guidelines.
Candidates must hold a current Florida EMT or Paramedic license and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A high school diploma, GED, or vocational training is required, along with less than one year of clinical experience.

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED or Vocational Training
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Required Experience: Less than 1 of practical clinical experience.
Preferred Experience: 1 or more years previous experience in a health care environment.
