The Community Ambassador serves as a liaison between residents and the management team, helping create a vibrant, engaging community environment. This role focuses on resident engagement, leasing support, and community programming to drive satisfaction, retention, and a positive living experience.
What You’ll Do
Resident Engagement & Programming
Plan and execute social and developmental programs to enhance the resident experience Build relationships with residents through one-on-one interactions and community involvement Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging community environment Serve as a resource for residents regarding community services and local resources
Leasing & Marketing Support
Assist with leasing efforts including tours, follow-ups, and housing events Participate in outreach marketing activities such as housing fairs and campus events Promote the community through social engagement and peer networking
Office & Operational Support
Cover scheduled office shifts, including evenings and weekends Support daily office functions including customer service and administrative tasks Assist with move-in and move-out processes
On-Call & Community Support
Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities Respond to lockouts, noise complaints, and resident concerns Assist in handling emergency situations as needed
Leadership & Representation
Serve as a role model and ambassador for the B.HOM brand Promote a positive and professional image within the community Support conflict resolution and community standards
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned to support community success
What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stay organized Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms Must be enrolled as a student and meet academic requirements:
Must be able to live on-site in assigned staff housing Must be available to move in prior to the start of the academic year for training
Work Schedule
Approximately 20 hours per week Includes office hours, events, marketing activities, and on-call responsibilities Evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts required
Physical Requirements
Ability to move throughout the property and attend events Frequent use of computer and office equipment Ability to communicate effectively in person, phone, and written formats Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
