This isn’t your typical “office director” role.
This is your chance to be the strategic powerhouse behind how vibrant, well‑run, financially sound communities come to life.
If you’re ready for that next step, or already a high‑energy leader who loves developing teams, guiding boards, improving operations, and elevating the homeowner experience — this is your next big move.
Why You’ll Love Working at Associa

Competitive paid time off, medical, dental & vision plans
401(k)/match
Disability coverage
Wellness + learning & development programs
Access to a national network of industry experts
Career paths that support long‑term growth
A culture consistently awarded “Best & Brightest”
What You’ll Do
As the Community Director, you’ll serve as the operational backbone and leadership force for your branch. You’ll manage a talented team, partner with HOA Boards, and oversee the smooth functioning of multiple community operations. You will:
Serve as the primary relationship leader for Boards of Directors and homeowners
Lead and mentor branch staff, ensuring high performance, strong service, and continuous development
Oversee all operational functions, from administrative workflows to financial processes
Review and guide financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity for Board packets
Advise on capital projects, community maintenance needs, and vendor performance
Drive strategic initiatives, including budget planning, service enhancements, and operational improvements
Ensure compliance and risk mitigation, including tracking legal matters and architectural reviews
Attend board meetings and community events, representing Associa with professionalism and expertise
Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and performance monitoring
Ensure accurate database (C3) and file maintenance
Oversee AP processes in alignment with home office procedures
Roll up your sleeves as needed - because great leaders know when to dive in
Perform other duties that support outstanding community + client experience
Ready to Lead a Team That Makes Communities Better Every Day?
Bring your leadership talent to a role that truly makes an impact - for your team, for your clients, and for the communities that call Associa home.
Compensation: $110,000-$115,000/annually; direct experience highly considered.
Employment Type:
Full-time
Work Location:
3517 Camino Del Rio South, Ste 204, San Diego, CA 92108
