Job Description
Join a fast-paced operations team responsible for processing complex mutual fund transactions, including account setup, purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance. This role works directly with shareholders, institutional clients, and broker/dealers to resolve inquiries, research account requests, and ensure accurate transaction processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining compliance with SEC regulations and internal policies while delivering exceptional service.
Job Description:
Responsible for the analysis and processing of a variety of complex mutual fund transaction requests for mutual fund companies and their shareholders; including new account set ups, purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance within client standards for productivity and accuracy.
Provides and responds to telephone inquiries from existing shareholders, institutional clients, and broker/dealers regarding transaction requests and specific account information.
Analyzes and enters trade cancellations, account corrections, dividend and capital gain corrections, check stops and rebooking trades due to pricing errors. Processes conversions, de-conversions and fund liquidations.
Researches shareholder requests to ensure compliance with SEC, STA, and internal policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum two years of related work experience, such as accounting/financial transactions and customer service
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Ability to collect, interpret, and apply diverse client/fund information and regulatory guidelines
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a dynamic working environment with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient mathematical and computer skills
Excellent customer service skills
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
