The Director of Clubs is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective operation of Club processes, systems, and resources. This role requires a leader who can manage Club operations, establish logistics, secure facilities, and foster a Christ-centered environment that promotes spiritual growth alongside athletic excellence. Additionally, this role is pivotal in growing the number of Clubs and participants by developing outreach strategies, enhancing program offerings, and fostering relationships within the community. It plays a crucial role in not only developing athletes' skills but also in nurturing their spiritual growth and fostering a community grounded in Christian values. This position requires a dynamic leader who can seamlessly blend sports management with ministry, ensuring a holistic and impactful experience for all participants.
MINISTERIAL DUTIES
The Director for Coastal NC FCA Sports reports to the Coastal NC FCA Director, and would serve as the primary spiritual leader to the Coastal NC FCA Sports Staff, empowered to prayerfully staff and resource the development of this Team and the growth of FCA Sports Clubs and Leagues in the Coastal NC FCA area.
The Director for Coastal NC FCA Sports will be required to possess and demonstrate the capacity to develop competency across a very broad range of skill sets in order to multiply the impact of FCA Sports Staff, Clubs and Leagues. They must be a competent and confident minister of the Gospel and remain present, relevant and impactful in the lives of those they lead and influence.
This candidate needs to be faithful; a person who shows themselves reliable in business, the execution of directions, and the discharge of duties; one who is consistent and worthy of trust.
In the often isolated, spiritual warfare environment that being on Staff with FCA is, the Director for Coastal NC FCA Sports should be highly stress-resistant; maintaining confidence through life’s challenges, social pressures, and any questions of their capabilities.
