At TCS Transportation, we are seeking a Dispatch Specialist to coordinate timely, compassionate, and efficient transportation services. This role requires excellent customer service, friendly communication, and the ability to respond with empathy and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure all trips are assigned on time with no missed or late service.
Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to maintain efficiency and reliability.
Assign return (leg 2) trips strategically based on proximity and timing.
Collaborate closely with drivers and the Trip Assignment team to resolve disruptions.
Meet trip-per-hour targets (Urban Ambulatory: 2/hr; Wheelchair/Rural/Long Distance: 1/hr).
Maintain an average dispatch time of 5 minutes or less for return trips.
Use dispatch systems and mobile tools accurately to support daily operations.
Contribute to team meetings with updates and practical solutions.
Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and solve problems quickly.
Empathetic and respectful approach to all team members and clients.
Comfortable using transportation software and mobile navigation tools.
Associate’s Degree or 2 years of dispatch/logistics experience.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Familiar with smartphone and dispatch applications.

Established in 1998, LCP continues to be a valued partner with national MCOs and HMOs, providing efficient transportation management and customer service. The company strategically focuses on core disciplines such as Medicaid transportation, transportation brokering and utilization management reporting.
