Service Renewals Specialist Location: Remote within United States Department: Customer Experience Reports to: Sr. Manager, Service Renewals Service Contract Management
Why Join Omnicell? We are looking for a Service Renewals Specialist to join our Service Portfolio Management team and help ensure Omnicell customers maintain uninterrupted access to support and services. This entry-level renewals role is responsible for overseeing the renewal process for assigned accounts, while also managing billable support opportunities independently.
What You’ll Do As a Service Renewals Specialist, you will: Support the Service Renewals organization by managing assigned accounts to promote timely renewal execution. Respond to inbound customer inquiries related to service renewals and conduct outbound follow-up on pending customer actions. Develop a clear understanding of service renewals business practices, core Omnicell Service offerings, and common questions across the renewals quoting-to-invoicing workflow. Assist with install base, contract coverage, and related data needed to complete service renewals or billable time-andmaterials events. Proactively communicate issues that may delay or inhibit closure of a service renewal. Accurately assess and maintain on-time renewal probability for assigned accounts or opportunities. Recognize new purchase or product upgrade opportunities and notify Sales accordingly. Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities related to Service Renewals.
Who You Are You are a dependable, detail-oriented customer support professional who values follow-through, clear communication, and accurate execution. You are comfortable working across systems and data sources, asking thoughtful questions, and adapting productively when priorities or information change. Reliable and independently responsible for assigned work hours, work assignments, and committed action items. Comfortable making sound, in-policy decisions for standard processes and recurring situations. Disciplined in basic time and priority management, with the ability to adapt when required. Motivated by detail-oriented and analytical work involving research, investigation, comparisons, and identifying trends or outliers. Effective communicator across in-person, virtual, phone, written, and documentation-based interactions. Able to cope with ambiguity or change in a productive manner. Able to quickly learn commonly used service, selling, or support tools and technologies, including MS Office/Office 365, SAP, Salesforce-like CRM systems, quoting, or invoicing tools.
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of prior work history.
Preferred Qualifications Customer service, support, sales, account relationship management, procurement, contracting, or similar customer-facing experience. Bachelor’s degree. Healthcare industry experience.
Work Environment This entry-level role will involve substantial daily collaboration with trainers and/or colleagues at the start, with ongoing collaboration multiple times per week. Customer needs, team priorities, or business goals may require overtime hours. Sufficient work-from-home arrangements will be necessary for any non-office days. Fully remote work may be permissible with qualified prior experience and sufficient full-time work-from-home arrangements. Full-time remote workers may be required to travel to Omnicell locations semi-annually.
How You’ll Elevate at Omnicell At Omnicell, success isn’t just about what you achieve—it’s about how you achieve it. We embed Elevate Behaviors in everything we do. Inspire – Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal partners to build trust and momentum. Develop – Build renewals knowledge, systems fluency, and process understanding through hands-on learning and feedback. Execute – Maintain clear priorities, follow through on commitments, and support accurate, on-time renewal completion. Impact – Help customers maintain uninterrupted access to support and services while contributing to renewal and revenue objectives.
