The Safety Specialist coordinates the implementation of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program and conducts health and safety training across various field and plant operations. They are also responsible for investigating workplace incidents, managing workers' compensation claims, and ensuring regulatory compliance through audits and inspections.
Candidates should have at least five years of hands-on occupational safety experience, preferably in an agricultural setting, and a strong knowledge of OSHA regulations. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required, along with a valid California driver's license and the ability to travel to and relocate between various work sites.

The position is based in Castroville, California, with seasonal travel to Oxnard and Huron and temporary relocation to Coachella, California will be required.
