PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Yakima, WA
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed
Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
Preferred Qualifications:
1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
1 or more years of pediatric or geriatric phlebotomy experience
6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy
Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
Additional Job Standards:
In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
