Responsibilities

Manage a diverse panel of pediatric ENT patients independently and collaborate with surgeons to coordinate care for complex medical conditions. Perform specialized procedures and contribute to departmental quality improvement and research initiatives.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in nursing (NP) or graduation from an accredited PA program with at least one year of pediatric or family clinical experience. Must hold active Washington state licensure, DEA registration, and BLS/PALS certifications.

Full job description

Seattle Children’s is seeking a motivated and versatile Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA), to join our growing Otolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgery team. This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory environment and is passionate about providing world-class pediatric care.

The Role

As an APP in our ENT department, you will play a dual role in our clinical ecosystem:

  • Independent Practice: Manage a diverse panel of patients presenting with a broad range of ENT pathologies affecting the head and neck.

  • Collaborative Care: Work alongside world-renowned attending surgeons to coordinate care for children with complex medical conditions and specialized surgical needs.

Clinical Growth & Responsibilities

We value continuous learning. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Master Technical Skills: Maintain proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and performing specialized procedures, including binocular microscopy, foreign body removal, and cauterization.

  • Drive Innovation: Contribute to departmental Quality Improvement (QI) projects and organizational performance initiatives.

  • Educate & Research: Participate in meaningful research efforts and provide essential education to patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.

Location & Deployment

This is a fully clinic-based position. While your primary deployment will be at our Main Campus, flexibility is key; occasional coverage may be required at our Bellevue Clinic to ensure seamless patient care across the region.

FTE

We are open to a range of 0.75 to 1.0 FTE, based on candidate interest and program needs
