The Sr. Phlebotomy Technician assists the supervisor with daily department operations and performs venous and capillary blood collections. They are also responsible for accurately conducting and processing Point of Care Testing (POC) for patients of all ages.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 3 years of progressive experience in phlebotomy and POC preferred. Medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification are also preferred qualifications.
The Sr. Phlebotomy Technician assists the supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the department. This position is responsible for accurately performing and processing Point of Care Testing (POC), venous and capillary blood collection from adults, infants, and children and all related functions.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
