This position provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain professional experience, develop career-related skills, and support their peers in their career development journey. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
1. Front Desk Support: • Greet and assist students, employers, and visitors. • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries. •Schedule appointments for career advising and other services. 2. Administrative Tasks: •Maintain and update student records and databases. • Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of information. 3. Resource Management: • Help manage career resources such as job boards, career guides, and handouts. • Ensure resource materials are up-to-date and readily available for students. 4. Marketing and Outreach: • Create and distribute promotional materials for Career Center events and services. • Assist with social media content creation and management. • Help develop and implement marketing strategies to increase student engagement. |
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS |
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at Seton Hall University. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of social media platforms. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Previous experience in customer service or administrative role is a plus.
