Join a leadership team focused on building culture, supporting nurses, and developing strong clinical teams. Sunnybrook Rehabilittaion Center is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Staff Development Coordinator / Nurse Educator to lead training, orientation, and clinical education for our nursing staff.

Schedule
Monday–Friday
Day Shift
On-call rotation as needed
Salary
From $85,000 per year based on experience
Responsibilities
Lead orientation and onboarding for new nursing staff
Coordinate and conduct clinical education and in-service training
Provide hands-on skills training and competency evaluations
Mentor and support new nurses and nursing assistants
Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance
Support quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives
Partner with nursing leadership to strengthen team performance and retention
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care required
Previous experience as a Staff Development Coordinator, Nurse Educator, or nursing leadership role preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Passion for staff development and clinical excellence

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
2 or more years’ experience in health care field, teaching, or training and development.Registered NurseInfection Prevention and Control Officer Certification or complete IPCO training and certification within 5 days of hire.
