The role involves managing legal issues and compliance for unregulated business subsidiaries, focusing on project development and construction contracting. The attorney will advise business leaders on risk mitigation and support strategic operations including acquisitions and joint ventures.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree and a valid state law license with at least 7 years of legal experience. Preference is given to those with expertise in energy industry contracts, manufacturing, or equipment procurement.
This position is for an attorney to manage legal issues and coordinate compliance in unregulated business subsidiaries including support of project development and construction, day to day management of legal issues and contracting process -- could also include managing litigation matters. This role will assist the PowerSecure, Inc. legal department on how best to manage legal demands of the company as well as help the business leaders assess risk, then advise on mitigation strategies.
