Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience in detailing or construction-related fields and a strong understanding of building codes and hardware specifications. An associate or bachelor degree in a technical or construction-related field is preferred.

About This Role
The Detailer is the technical backbone of every project CBX Solutions executes. In this role, you translate contract documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and purchase orders) into accurate, code-compliant door, frame, and hardware schedules that the entire project team depends on. Your work determines what gets ordered, what gets installed, and whether a project meets UL, fire code, ADA, life safety, and local building code requirements.
This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in precision: a subject-matter expert who catches specification conflicts before they become field problems and produces submittals that hold up to scrutiny from architects and general contractors.

Work Environment
