The Manager of Electrical Engineering will lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on the design, development, and lifecycle support of active implantable medical devices. This role is responsible for ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of robust hardware solutions that meet clinical performance objectives.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of engineering experience, including 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in developing safety-critical or Class III medical devices is required, along with strong knowledge of relevant industry standards like IEC 60601 and ISO 14708.
The Manager, Electrical Engineering will lead and develop a team of electrical engineers responsible for the design, development, verification, and lifecycle support of active implantable medical devices (AIMDs). Reporting to the Director, Product Development, Implantables, this role is accountable for delivering robust electrical hardware solutions that meet clinical performance objectives, safety requirements, quality standards, and global regulatory expectations while driving technical innovation and engineering excellence.
