The specialist supports the implementation and continuous improvement of risk management practices across a capital project portfolio. This includes facilitating risk assessments, managing risk registers, and conducting quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses.
Candidates should have a university degree in a related field and several years of experience in project controls or infrastructure delivery. Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis methodologies and associated software tools is highly desired.
Position Purpose:
The Capital Project Risk Management Specialist supports the implementation and continuous improvement of risk management practices across Infrastructure Ontario's capital project portfolio. The role facilitates project-level risk assessments, manages risk registers and reporting, conducts quantitative risk analysis, and works closely with project delivery teams to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. The position promotes consistent application of risk management frameworks, tools, and best practices across a variety of asset classes and delivery models.
