Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in electrical control panel or hydraulic assembly and the ability to read technical schematics. A high school diploma is required, and the ability to lift 50lbs is necessary for the physical demands of the role.

JOB SUMMARY
The Shop Technician has primary responsibility for EMCO an AFC Industries Company. This important position is a hands-on role that requires in-depth knowledge of building electrical control cabinets and mechanical sub-assemblies. Aside from electro-mechanical solutions, they will need to know, or learn, how to build Hydraulic and Pneumatic panels and assemblies.
The Shop Technician is responsible for all technical and administrative tasks associated with equipment builds and quality control. The Shop Technician will assist in coordinating production with sales and operations to meet delivery schedules and profitability goals.
Our optimum candidate will be dependable, have a working knowledge of schematics and BOMs, possess the ability and willingness to learn unfamiliar systems, be familiar with hand power tools and reading tape measures, lead by example, be a team player, be accountable, have strong communication skills, enjoy solving problems, and stay calm under pressure.
