The Oral Surgery Assistant provides empathetic patient care before, during, and after procedures while assisting the surgeon with evaluations and surgeries. They are also responsible for maintaining sterile environments, documenting patient charts, and preparing surgical trays.
Candidates must have at least one year of dental or surgical assisting experience and hold a radiology certification. A strong understanding of sterilization principles, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology is required.
