The Guest Experience Manager oversees daily front office operations, ensuring high-quality guest service and resolving customer concerns. They also manage staff communication, coordinate VIP arrivals, and analyze feedback to improve hotel performance.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two to four years of experience in a front desk or guest service management role. Proficiency in hotel management systems like OPERA and strong leadership and communication skills are required.
The Guest Experience Manager is responsible for making our guests feel welcome and ensuring their pleasant and comfortable stay at our hotel. Additional responsibilities include greeting guests as they arrive and depart, coordinating their check-ins to assigned rooms and informing them about the hotel’s facilities. You will see that the Front Office and Concierges offer stellar customer service and provide memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the requirements of the hotel:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or relevant field.
Two to four (2-4) years’ experiences as a Front Desk Manager, Guest Service Manager, or similar role required.
Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates, or permits.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Mondrian South Beach standards.
