Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS), a Koniag Government Services (KGS) company, is seeking a Alternate PM to support KITS and our government customer in Durham, NC.

An Alternate PM must have the ability to serve in a leadership role according to schedule and program instructions. This position is classified as a managerial.
Key Responsibilities:
Observes, evaluates, and supervises day-to-day operations of operators in a lower classification, ensuring production efficiency aligns with daily task objectives.
Facilitates daily production by communicating directing daily activities, scheduling operator work tasks, and following up on work results.
Organizes and maintains resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events.
Prepares and provides guidance to operators in a lower classification by conducting training, providing information, and resolving problems.
Reports project status to senior management regularly.
Prepare and communicate effective correspondence in response to administrative inquiries.
Apply administrative concepts, practices, and procedures to research materials for projects and fulfilled meeting obligations.
Compiles data from a variety of sources to interpret relevant information.
Performs related work as assigned by Contract Officer.
Skills & Behaviors:
Thorough knowledge of modern operating systems, networking, and MS Office software.
Thorough knowledge of clerical and reporting skills.
Excellent attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform accurately, assigned routine operations on various data processing equipment.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
Ability to listen effectively and express thoughts and opinions clearly and concisely.
Ability to work well both alone and in highly structured team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communications capabilities with good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
Education, Training, & Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10+ years of personal computer experience. (required)
Eight years of experience in a business mailroom, print operations, and/or mail sorting experience. (required)
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or successful completion of related programs in data processing and computer operations. (preferred)
Experience with using loading and maneuvering equipment safely and effectively. (preferred)
Qualifications:
Candidates who hold an active public trust government clearance are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates who are willing to undergo a background investigation to receive a government clearance will be strongly considered.
Candidates must be able to work Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm daily. (Hours may vary based on workload and candidates must be flexible)
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
Must be able to stand for significant periods of time.
