The Marketing Manager, Fluid Solutions is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth, strengthen customer engagement, build brand awareness, and expand market leadership across the Fluid Solutions portfolio. This role serves as a key strategic partner to Product Management, Sales, and cross-functional business teams, helping bring innovative products and solutions to market while supporting customers in solving complex water management challenges.
This individual will lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, customer engagement initiatives, and demand generation programs that deliver measurable business results. The Marketing Manager leverages market insights, customer data, and business objectives to develop marketing strategies that increase market penetration, accelerate revenue growth, and enhance the customer experience.
This position does not have direct reports.
This position reports to the Sr. Channel Marketing Manager.
This role is hybrid, based at our Watts Water, N. Andover, MA office three days per week.
The Job:
Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop annual marketing strategies, growth initiatives, and go-to-market plans that support business objectives.
Serve as the marketing lead for assigned Fluid Solutions product categories, developing and executing strategies that strengthen market position, increase customer engagement, and support revenue growth.
Identify target audiences and customer segments while developing compelling value propositions, positioning strategies, messaging frameworks, and customer-focused marketing objectives.
Develop, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and field marketing channels to drive demand generation and business growth.
Lead the planning and execution of new product launches, commercialization initiatives, and go-to-market activities to maximize market impact and adoption.
Drive customer engagement programs and initiatives that enhance brand awareness, strengthen customer relationships, and improve the overall customer experience.
Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure marketing initiatives are executed effectively, aligned with business priorities, and delivered on schedule.
Manage marketing budgets and investments to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and return on investment.
Monitor campaign performance, market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Analyze marketing and business performance data to develop insights, measure outcomes, and support data-driven decision-making.
Proactively identify project risks, resource constraints, and business challenges while developing solutions that ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Plan, coordinate, and support industry trade shows, conferences, association events, customer events, and other market-facing activities.
Partner with marketing specialists and commercial teams to support lead generation, lead nurturing, audience segmentation, marketing automation, and conversion optimization efforts.
Develop and deliver presentations, business reviews, campaign results, strategic recommendations, and marketing plans to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, consultants, and marketing service providers to ensure quality execution and alignment with business objectives.
Support the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools that improve marketing effectiveness, scalability, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, and other business functions to ensure alignment between marketing objectives and commercial priorities.
Promote Watts' values of Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, and Transparency in all business interactions.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by management.
Travel up to 20% as required to support customer engagement activities, trade shows, industry events, sales meetings, and business initiatives.
Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover location three days per week (Monday – Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).

What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing communications, product marketing, demand generation, or related marketing disciplines.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that support growth and business objectives.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, traditional marketing, demand generation, content marketing, and customer engagement strategies.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate opportunities, assess risks, and develop recommendations that support business objectives.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data, metrics, and insights to measure performance and guide decision-making.
Experience managing agency partners, vendors, consultants, and external marketing resources.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and business practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in water technologies, flow control, plumbing, HVAC, construction, industrial manufacturing, or related industries.
Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or similar systems.
Experience with CRM platforms, campaign analytics, lead management, and customer data platforms.
Experience supporting multi-channel product portfolios in a B2B manufacturing environment.
MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience with customer journey mapping, segmentation strategies, and digital transformation initiatives.
Pay Range:
The expected salary range for this position is $117,000 - $134,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
