The Field Safety and Risk Manager is responsible for providing safety and risk management support across construction projects in New England. This includes conducting daily field inspections, developing risk mitigation plans, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
Candidates must have 5-7 years of construction safety experience and a bachelor's degree in safety or construction management. Professional designations such as CSP, CHST, or CRIS are preferred, along with OSHA 500 Trainer Authorization.
Position Summary
The Field Safety and Risk Manager is responsible for providing overall safety and risk management support to various construction projects throughout New England. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience regarding construction safety, thorough understanding of OSHA and State level regulations, interpreting them, and successfully implementation on their defined projects. In addition, successful candidate will have construction related experience. Daily Risk Management inspections of field projects are the primary responsibility of the position to ensure compliance with Company and regulatory regulations. S/he must be able to interact with tradesmen through all levels of management effectively. The Field Safety and Risk Manager should have strong communication skills allowing to handle crucial conversations effectively.
