The Field Operations Manager will lead on-site deployments of autonomous haulage systems, acting as the primary liaison between Pronto and the customer. They are responsible for managing technical teams, ensuring project performance metrics are met, and overseeing the integration of autonomous technology into mining operations.
Candidates must possess a University Degree in Mining Engineering and over 15 years of direct mining experience, including 5-10 years in a leadership capacity. A proven track record in technology rollouts and the ability to work in rugged, remote mine site environments are essential.

About the role
Pronto is seeking a seasoned mining professional to lead our on-site deployments. As the Field Operations Manager, you will be the bridge between Pronto’s cutting-edge technology and the customer’s day-to-day mining operations. You will be responsible for managing a high-performing technical team, ensuring the customer meets their infrastructure commitments, and delivering the project according to strict performance and safety criteria.
What you’ll do
This is a field-based role supporting operations across the United States. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change—we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. This position requires travel across the U.S. up to 75% of the time. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel and a highly mobile work environment.
The base salary range for this role is $139,000 - $176,000 per year.
Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
