The Associate Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on metal stamping and supporting industrial equipment. Candidates should have approximately 7 years of experience in industrial or commercial environments and possess strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. An associate degree in a technology-related field is preferred, and the ability to work a weekend shift is required.

As an Associate Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on metal stamping equipment and supporting equipment.
Weekend Shift Hours are Fri - Sun 6:00AM to 6:30PM. You will receive a $2.50 shift differential for every hour worked.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Install and service systems such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, controls. (80%)
Miscellaneous repairs and tasks which could include parts pickup, coordinating vendors, developing training materials and solutions. (5%)
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical equipment (5%)
Perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses and supporting equipment. (5%)
Perform routine industrial and facility maintenance. (5%)

This role operates large equipment and needs to constantly position self to maintain the operation of equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.
Regularly work around moving mechanical parts. The noise level is loud. The job may risk exposure to dust, heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions.
This job does not require domestic travel.
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in McKinney, TX
Relocation is not available for this position.
$21.30 - $31.97 / hour
