The Concrete Finisher is responsible for smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete at construction sites while ensuring proper curing. They also perform repairs on cured concrete and maintain the equipment used in the finishing process.
Candidates should have experience in concrete finishing and be capable of working in various weather conditions and loud environments. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred for this role.

Concrete Finisher
Supervisor: Foreman
General Description of Position: Responsible for smoothing out, leveling and finishing freshly poured concrete at job or construction sites. Perform repairs on cures concrete.
Essential functions and responsibilities listed below:
Safety Policies and Practices: The employee in this job must be knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the company’s safety manual.
Specific Equipment and Materials to be used: Operate power vibrator to compact concrete, pneumatic chisel, saws, power grinder and hand tools
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred but not necessary
Work environment: The work environment/physical demands characteristics described here are representative of those the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and high and/ or precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
