The Supply Planning Analyst manages forecasting, operational data, and purchase orders to ensure supply plan accuracy for Private Brands. They also provide data analysis, reporting, and metric tracking while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production and delivery issues.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of related experience and a strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and VBA, along with knowledge of merchandising math principles is required.
The Supply Planning Analyst contributes to REI supply plan accuracy and flexibility by managing forecasting and operational data prior to the purchasing cycle and managing purchase orders and related production issues. The Supply Planning Analyst provides data analysis, reporting, and metric tracking capabilities. Prioritizing work and establishing consistent processes for cross-divisional and external partners is critical to the success of this role. A positive, customer-focused mindset is a must.
Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, this position contributes to REI’s success by optimizing Private Brands’ supply plan accuracy through order management, reporting, and analysis.
