What You Will Do:
Lead PM warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, packing, staging, loading, wire room, inventory movement, and coordination with supporting operational areas.
Own end-of-day execution by monitoring order queues, carrier and delivery cutoffs, workload, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure service-level agreements are achieved.
Adjust labor plans throughout the shift based on volume, priorities, attendance, equipment availability, and operational constraints.
Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for up to six direct-report managers and supervisors and their teams.
Develop supervisors and associates through regular performance discussions, documented coaching, training plans, succession planning, and timely recognition.
Monitor and improve safety, quality, productivity, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, and on-time completion using defined KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting.
Lead daily shift huddles and maintain a clear handoff with day-shift leaders, transportation, sales, and other partners, including unresolved risks, service issues, and follow-up actions.
Respond to operational disruptions, customer-impacting issues, staffing gaps, equipment concerns, and safety events; escalate appropriately and document root causes and corrective actions.
Implement Lean practices and lead continuous-improvement work that reduces waste, improves material flow, strengthens standard work, and delivers sustainable results.
Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and retain associates while maintaining appropriate coverage and skill depth across assigned functions.
Administer company policies, safety programs, required training, and applicable regulatory requirements consistently.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and ensure teams take ownership of housekeeping and equipment standards.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
What You Will Bring:
Three or more years of leadership experience in distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, transportation, production, or a comparable business-to-business environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead supervisors or teams, set expectations, coach performance, resolve conflict, and deliver results through others.
Working knowledge of warehouse operations, labor planning, inventory control, order fulfillment, and service-level management.
Strong planning, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond calmly to changing priorities.
Ability to use operational data to forecast workload, adjust staffing, identify root causes, and communicate performance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and operational reporting tools; ability to learn warehouse management and cloud-based systems.
Ability to lead change, maintain accountability, and build a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Flexibility to meet business needs, including occasional schedule adjustments, evenings, or weekends.
Seven or more years of progressively responsible operations or supply-chain experience, including leadership development.
Experience leading multi-function distribution operations or an afternoon/evening shift.
Experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, transportation processes, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or demonstrated experience applying Lean, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
Experience with budgeting, financial forecasting, labor-cost management, and operational expense control.
Degree concentration in business, engineering, supply chain, logistics, or distribution management preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as operationally required.

Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required

Additional Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
