This role also involves handling controlled substances, patient communication, and maintaining assigned areas. The Pharmacy Technician Specialist assesses the age-specific needs of patients and ensures that all duties are performed in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital, as well as state and federal regulations.
