The pharmacist is responsible for preparing and dispensing parenteral and enteral medications while monitoring patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness. They also supervise pharmacy support personnel and manage the procurement and storage of all hospital drugs.
Candidates must have a BS Pharmacy degree, a current North Carolina Registered Pharmacist license, and active BLS certification. At least one year of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting is required.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, this position fills orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitors patient drug therapies and provides drug information. Supervises and directs support personnel. Responsible for the procurement storage, dispensing, supervision and management of all legend and non-legend drugs for the hospital and shall maintain complete and accurate records of all drug transactions by the pharmacy.
