As Enterprise Program Director, Patient Safety, you will have the opportunity to influence patient care at scale by partnering with executive, clinical, and operational leaders across one of the country's most respected integrated healthcare systems. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Patient Safety, you will play a key role in advancing a culture where safety is embedded in every aspect of care delivery.

You'll help shape enterprise-wide strategy, champion innovative approaches to safety, and drive meaningful improvements that positively impact patients, families, and care teams throughout the system.

Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Vice President of Patient Safety and senior leaders across the organization.
Drive the execution and continuous evolution of enterprise-wide patient safety and risk management initiatives.
Lead efforts to identify emerging risks and translate data into actionable improvement strategies.
Advance a proactive culture of safety by promoting transparency, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with clinical and operational teams to standardize best practices across the system.
Guide critical event reviews and organizational learning efforts that help prevent future harm.
Influence system-wide approaches to safety event reporting, trend analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Support leaders in achieving key patient safety, accreditation, and regulatory goals.
Mentor and lead patient safety and risk management professionals while fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Help shape both short-term priorities and long-term strategic objectives for patient safety across Mass General Brigham.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of leadership experience in patient safety, risk management, quality improvement, or a related healthcare discipline.
5+ years of clinical experience.
Experience working with healthcare regulatory and reporting requirements.
Preferred
Master's degree in a related field.
Experience within an academic medical center, large health system, or similarly complex healthcare environment.
Expertise in patient safety methodologies, event analysis, root cause analysis, and performance improvement.
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and other healthcare accreditation and regulatory requirements.
