Candidates should have one to three years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations, with a preference for a bachelor's degree. Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms is required, along with strong graphic design and writing skills.
As a Communications Associate, you'll play an essential role in bringing JASA's mission to life through engaging digital content, marketing campaigns, social media, and storytelling. Working closely with the Associate Director of Communications, you'll help elevate JASA's brand, increase community engagement, and showcase the impact of our programs serving older New Yorkers.

The Communications Associate is a key member of JASA's Development & Communications team and supports agency-wide marketing, communications, and branding initiatives.
This hybrid position requires working from JASA's Central Office or in the field at least three days per week, with additional evening and weekend attendance required for events and special initiatives.
