The Patient Service Representative is responsible for accurate patient registration, procedure scheduling, and managing charge transmittals and collections. They must provide high-quality customer service while maintaining professional interpersonal relationships with patients, physicians, and staff.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a secretarial or receptionist role, preferably in a medical setting. Proficiency in typing at 30 wpm, basic computer skills, and knowledge of medical terminology and ICD9 coding are required.
