The Driver Manager is responsible for dispatching a fleet of 30-50 drivers, managing load planning, and ensuring efficient freight delivery across regional and OTR lanes. This role is with QQR Transport, an asset-based carrier that operates its own fleet, running full-truckload (FTL) freight in dry van, bulk, and open deck modalities. QQR Transport is building its dispatch and operations team in Cincinnati, Ohio and looking for experienced logistics professionals that are ready to grow their careers.
Job Overview
QQR Transport is seeking an experienced Driver Manager in Cincinnati, OH to dispatch our fleet and ensure successful execution of freight delivery through effective driver management, load planning, and dispatch operations. The Driver Manager will act as the link between the business, our drivers, and our freight brokerage partners. Unlike larger carriers that split these duties across separate roles, you will own both the driver relationship and load planning, running your board end to end. Reporting to and supporting the Operations Manager, you will run a high-volume full-truckload (FTL) dispatch board of 30 - 50 drivers per dispatcher. The ideal candidate combines sharp communication skills with real trucking industry knowledge and thrives on managing multiple loads and drivers efficiently, even when things move fast. QQR is scaling fast as a startup through organic growth and acquisitions to several hundred employees, and your work will directly impact driver satisfaction, on-time service, and load profitability.

Compensation
An individual candidate's placement within a range will be based on relevant work experience, demonstrated skills, and applicable education or professional training. The total compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000.
