Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.
Essential Functions:
Greet guests in a warm, personable, sincere and friendly manner
Process guest arrivals and departures
Modify guest reservations as needed
Answer phone calls, emails and guest inquiries in a timely manner
Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction
Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain guest confidentiality
Perform other duties as assigned by Front Office Leadership
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience is preferred but not required
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
Full flexibility is required to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Compensation
$24.00 per hour
