The machine operator is responsible for setting up and operating non-thermal processing equipment such as saws, shears, and press brakes. They must also operate material handling equipment and ensure all tasks are completed accurately according to blueprints and safety guidelines.
Candidates must be able to work the 2nd shift and possess the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. The role requires passing a criminal background check and a drug test upon an offer of employment.
The Machine Operator sets up and operates non-thermal processing equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Non-thermal processing equipment is defined as any machine that does not use thermal energy (heat) to cut, form, shape or otherwise process stock material. These machines include but are not limited to saws, shears, press brakes, rollers, and digi-benders. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
Must be able to work 2nd Shift (2:00PM - 10:00PM) Monday-Friday. Overtime will be required as needed.
