Responsibilities
Set up and operate manual machine tools to manufacture and repair precision components for industrial pumps and rotating equipment. Perform reverse engineering and precision fitting while maintaining close tolerances on critical dimensions.
Requirements
Requires strong experience in independent setup and operation of manual lathes and milling machines. Candidates must be proficient with precision measuring equipment and able to interpret mechanical drawings.
Full job description
Description
Machine precision components used to repair industrial pumps and rotating equipment in our OEM-authorized repair facility. This is a true MANUALmachining position - not CNC production work. Candidates should have experience independently setting up and operating manual machine tools such as lathes, Bridgeport mills, boring mills, VTLs, horizontal mills, or key seaters. CNC machining experience alone is not sufficient for this role.
Every job is different. You'll machine new components, repair worn parts, and reverse engineer equipment using drawings, sketches, or existing components. If you enjoy setup-heavy work that requires precision, problem solving, and craftsmanship, you'll find plenty of variety here.
