Own full operational accountability for PI’s IMS division manufacturing, service, and supply chain sites across the US (Houston TX and Pittsburgh PA) and international locations (Germany and China); deliver against safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost targets in alignment with the CEO’s operating plan and ELT-approved objectives.
Provide executive leadership to the IMS operations organization including Directors of Operations, Production Managers, Supply Chain, and Quality leadership; build a high-performance operations team, develop bench strength, and establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all IMS sites.
Lead and execute PI’s IMS footprint consolidation strategy; own the multi-year program to consolidate US manufacturing from four sites to two (Houston and Pittsburgh) by end of 2027, including transition planning, workforce management, asset relocation, and operational continuity throughout the consolidation.
Own the IMS S&OP process; partner with the IMS President, Global VP of Sales, and CFO to align production plans with demand forecasts, inventory objectives, and customer delivery commitments; ensure the IMS operations organization is a reliable, data-driven participant in the monthly planning cycle.
Drive global QMS governance for IMS; ensure all IMS manufacturing and service sites maintain ISO 9001 or applicable certification standards; own CAPA programs, internal audit readiness, and quality system maturity across the IMS division.
Develop and execute manufacturing strategy for IMS product lines (ATOM, EXTREL, GUIDED WAVE, COSA XENTAUR, LAR, MBW); ensure production capacity, capital investment, and make-vs.-buy decisions are aligned with IMS product roadmap priorities and commercial growth targets.
Partner with the Global VP of Supply Chain to ensure IMS-specific supplier relationships, inventory strategies, and procurement programs support production continuity, cost reduction, and material availability across all IMS sites.
Leverage the OnePI Data Warehouse as the single source of truth for IMS operational performance; build and maintain KPI dashboards covering SQDC metrics, manufacturing variance, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery; drive data-informed decision-making across the IMS operations leadership team.
Collaborate with the IMS President, Director of Engineering, and Director of Product Management to support new product introductions, ECO implementation, and resolution of production or field quality issues; ensure operations is an effective partner in the IMS NPD stage gate process.
Drive lean manufacturing and operational excellence across all IMS sites; deploy standard work, visual management, 5S, and structured problem-solving as foundational operating practices; develop a pipeline of CI initiatives that reduce cost, improve quality, and increase throughput.
Support M&A integration and strategic initiative execution as directed by the CEO; provide operations due diligence, integration planning, and site transition leadership for acquisitions or divestitures affecting the IMS division.
Apply PI core values to all tasks and responsibilities: operational excellence, communication, service-mindedness, innovation, integrity, and collaboration.
Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, actively identifying potential hazards, and promoting a culture of safety across all IMS sites globally.
Develop personal skills and capability through ongoing training as provided by the Company or elsewhere subject to Company approval.
Apply equal amounts of skill and dedication to all other duties as assigned.

Deep lean manufacturing expertise; hands-on track record deploying lean operating systems (standard work, 5S, VSM, kaizen, pull systems) that deliver sustained improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Strong S&OP process ownership experience; demonstrated ability to align demand and supply plans across a multi-product, multi-site global manufacturing organization.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic preferred) and enterprise analytics platforms (OnePI Data Warehouse) as foundations for operational decision-making and performance management.
Exceptional executive communication and leadership skills; credible and effective with site teams, the IMS President, the CEO, and ELT peers.
