Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and experience, training, or education in addiction or mental health. Required qualifications include 1-3 years of customer service experience and the ability to obtain or maintain CPR certification.

The Recovery Aide acts as the lead liaison between staff; communicates directly with nurses, counselors, and medication specialists on duty; contacts Program Director and Director of Nursing when issues arise. This role is responsible for assisting patients and families in the behavioral health system to enhance their recovery and promote wellness. The Recovery Aide must have experience, training, and/or education in the field of addiction.
