Must be at least 16 years old and hold or obtain CPR, First Aid, and YMCA Lifeguard certifications within specified timeframes. Ability to read and write English and a commitment to acting as a mandated reporter for child abuse are required.

The Lifeguard position creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals while promoting and maintaining a safe swimming environment in the pool, deck and surrounding areas in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
