About the Role
The Clinic Operations Coordinator is a paid, part-time position based in Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role designed for emerging health equity leaders who are ready to gain real leadership experience at the intersection of community health, public benefits navigation, and healthcare systems. This is not a passive learning opportunity; you will lead a team, manage clinic sites, and drive measurable outcomes from day one.
This role sits within Link Health’s Clinic Operations team and serves as the on-the-ground coordinator for in-clinic work. The Coordinator oversees the team, manages clinical relationships, and ensures enrollment goals are consistently met.

Detailed Duties
Directly manage clinic workflows through weekly site visits; identify operational bottlenecks and implement real-time solutions to improve patient-provider interactions
Oversee Senior Patient Navigators; ensure they are prepared for clinic shifts and effectively manage their teams of patient navigators
Conduct weekly check-ins with Senior Patient Navigators to assess team readiness, support team dynamics, and maintain quality standards
Serve as the lead point of contact for clinical sites; provide direct oversight and mentorship to a multi-tiered team of 25–30 navigators
Identify and communicate operational needs to the executive team; ensure resources are in place for team success
Design and maintain a centralized project management system via Asana to coordinate multi-site logistics and track program milestones
Participate in weekly executive team calls; share updates and contribute to strategy
Spend 2–3 afternoons per week onsite in Boston-based clinics providing hands-on leadership and direct patient support (approximately 3 hours per shift)
Interact with patients and clinic staff in both English and Spanish
Serve as a Senior Patient Navigator directly when needed, providing hands-on support to patients in benefit enrollment
Other duties assigned that support the mission and strategic plan of the organization
Eligibility
This position is open to post-baccalaureate students, medical students on a gap year, and concurrent graduate students who are committed to the full 12-month term.
