GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Managerto join our Construction Services Team in Fairfax! (Relocation is offered as this is a multi-year project)

We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Provide pre-bid services such as reviewofbid documents, constructability reviews,andcostestimates.
Assistance during the bidding phase.
Processshop drawings and other contractors’ deliverables.
Assistance in theconstruction change management to includenegotiationsandpreparationofchange orders.
Resident engineering and inspection services.
Construction schedule review and analysis.
Quality assurance.
Material testing.
Maintenance of project files.
Participation in value engineeringstudiesand support with Envision process.
Claims avoidance, analysis and resolution.
Utilityservicescoordinationduring construction.
Manage/coordinate the impact of construction on plant’s operation.
Commissioningservicesto include SCADA services, startup
Project closeoutand post-construction services
Other servicesrelated tothe completionof construction and operation of the facility.
Other professional services as requested by the County
Construction management field office support–officerental, maintenance
Assistance with alternative delivery methods
Support County safety personnel to ensuresafety compliance by implementing and monitoringhealth, safety, and environmental plans, conducting site safety audits, and coordinating withcontractors to mitigate hazards.

What you will bring to our firm:
A minimum of 20 years demonstrated experience in project management, construction management, business, or related field managing large projects.
Experience in Wastewater Treatment Plant CM or Construction
PE mandatory

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $225,000 - $260,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
