The Shop Superintendent oversees shop employees and the CAD/FAB process to ensure high-quality, on-time project delivery while maintaining safety standards. They are responsible for coordinating with project managers, managing labor costs, and fostering continuous improvement in both processes and personnel.
Candidates must have a college degree or equivalent combination of skills and 7 years of relevant experience. The role requires physical capability to lift heavy objects and the ability to work in a shop environment involving climbing, bending, and manual labor.
We are seeking a full-time Shop Superintendent (Sheet Metal) in Denver to oversee shop employees and ensure the CAD/FAB process consistently produces high-quality work that meets or exceeds customer requirements. This role works closely with Project Managers, field personnel, Schedulers, Work Order Processors, the CAD department, detailing subcontractors, and trucking partners to ensure projects are produced safely, accurately, and on time.
The Shop Superintendent also develops shop employees’ leadership, technical, and organizational skills while maintaining a safe, clean, productive, and well-organized shop environment.
